This traditional style holiday cottage is nestled in a hillside banana grove with breath taking views of the Grenadines. Located on a private 3 acre estate adjacent to government forest, Belair Gardens Cottage, offers a tranquil setting where you can unwind and soak up the beauty of this little known Caribbean island. Belair Gardens Cottage is about 2 miles to the north east of the main town of Hillsborough. A scenic, winding road takes you through the countryside and ascends to the village of Belair, some 700 feet above sea level. A jeep rental is recommended for those who wish to tour all the interesting sights on the island and to get to all the beaches. There are buses which go to and from Belair and Hillsborough a few times a day. Taxis are available too. (see location 3 on the map of Carriacou )

The 400 square foot cottage accommodates two people comfortably with a queen size bed on the main floor, but will sleep 4 with an additional double bed in the sleeping loft. A fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with separate outdoor hot water shower, and a deck with a hammock are featured for your comfort. No need for mosquito nets or fans as there is always a cool breeze up on this windward hillside. Your privacy and tranquility is assured as the cottage is located away from the main house, in which the owners live, and has a separate driveway.
